Alonso 2012 = Vettel 2015?
I was not aware Vettel is still fighting for the championship for the last race.
Vettel is definitely driving better than 2014, where he got trashed by Ricciardo. In 2015 he is confirming Raikkonen is past his prime time.

Me wonder what would be worse nightmare for Alonso. That Kimi, whom he defeated comfortably in Ferrari, wins the WDC in Ferrari. Or that Vettel, who denied him two titles in the very last race and to whom he left his contractual seat in Ferrari, wins his 5th WDC in Ferrari. The worst would be Alons...

Re: Will Alonso get fed up with the underperforming Mclaren?
I personally think that Alonso is done winning championships or races. I think that he will retire in 2 years time and remain in the shadows of Lewis and Vettel. Too bad, but that is what will most likely happen. This is the kind of mentality that elevates Alonso reputation into god-mode. People ac...

Mercedes ate Vettel's dummy Vettel remained low key during the practices. Even said he was having "difficulties". Raikkonen was putting clearly faster times than him. Is Raikkonen being the victim of a no.2 situation? Second time in a row he get misterious "errors" from the team after being the faster driver over the weekend. Yes, of course. Why do you think that Ferrari kept him? He is expected to be a more cooperative Webber, that's all. ;-) Last year's compla...

Lets wait until the season ends to make a judgement. If by the last race, Mclaren still holds the back end then it may have been better to stay at Ferrari. Keep in mind that had Alonso stayed at Ferrari, the technical heads would have stayed as well. Once Fernando left, Ferrari cleaned house. So I t...

There is not much to conclude from the first test other that Ferrari appears to have woken up.

Between media rumours and Alonso statements, I am inclined to go with the latter.
However, if one insists on following the rumors you could also read into the reports that Alonso is now playing "hard-ball" with Ferrari. It is very hard to do that with Ferrari withouth legally binding backup.
