Re: McLarens position if Mercs 1.6 turbo engine is brilliant

I agree with those saying that an engine advantage these days with engine freeze on won't be significant enough for McLaren to dump the Honda deal. I mean this deal is huge. A works team is not only free but its also much more dedicated. Any deficit Honda has, if any, would be wiped out very quickly...

Re: The secret to Ferrari 's excellent start

The Ferrari starts remind me of the old Renault starts. 2004-2006? yea, when the Enstone based Renault team was miles ahead with their launch control which was banned later. Wasn't launch control banned from 2005 ? Renault cars were still great starters in 2005-06. The Ferraris today are the best s...

Luca Codero di Montezemolo. That would be a massive, massive mistake. In season testing (and likely unlimited testing would resume), meaning Ferrari can use their private track 24/7 again, and we all know what happened when they were able to do that last time. so that is so bad? Mclaren built milli...

Somebody mentioned Esteban Gutierrez being a 'very smooth' driver. I haven't watched the onboard footage for current drivers in a long time. Who do you think are the smoothest drivers of the grid? Smooth as in smooth steering input and/or flowing racing lines. And/or appearing to be driving slow wh...

Thats because he's only had the 3rd/4th fastest car In 2010 he had a car good enough for pole. He scored only two poles that season. You don't have to be the best qualifier to be considered the best and most complete driver. Yeah, but people are criticizing Button's quali, when clearly, like Alonso...

Canada 2010 can't be used as an example at all. The race is amazing no doubt. DRS is not as powerful as many of you guys are making it out to be. Look at the fight between Kimi and Hami in China. Hami was faster for a fairly long period but couldn't get past.
