Re: Official Sebastian Vettel thread
Vettel is the prototypical German. Give him pole position and he'll carefully guide these tyre conservation machines (F1 race cars) across the line first more times than not. Vettel's strength isn't challenging a better car in inferior equipment and that's probably why we saw more mistakes from him...

Vettel ahead, slightly. Mainly due to his advantage at the beginning of the season as Charles takes some time adjusting to a new team and new car.

Re: Would Hamilton in the Ferrari have beat Hamilton in the
Given Hamilton is just a driver, and Ferrari have bigger problems than just their driver making silly mistakes, I’d say Hamilton wouldn’t have been able to win the title in the Ferrari. The car was just faster, slightly, during the first half of the season. The race strategy team does a great job of...

I predict that Bottas will be used as a massive roadblock in this race. Well, if they do, I hope people won't judge Bottas as having a weak 2nd half of the season just because of his team compromising his results to help Hamilton. Although he did struggle here last year. Something I do wonder thoug...

Schumi forever. Which basically now means Vettel forever. Also, was completely against Alonso 2005-2006. However, came around to supporting him during his Ferrari years. Think he's still the best driver - the only one on current grid who beat schumi at his prime. Kimi cuz he's Kimi. Charles cuz he's...

Since Bernd Mayländer isn't in the list, I will have to vote for other drivers. (No criticism of Bernd, mind you, just of the exagerated use of the Spectacle Car, which more than did its job today.) I dunno, it rewards the brave & punishes mistakes. It’s hilarious to me if Vettel doesn’t win this. Managing the tyres the way he did, soaking up the pressure of a faster car hunting him down.. IMO Raikkonen acted very appropriately. From his body language, he appeared irate when he climbed out of the car. But as he turned and walked back towards his pit stall, he was looking towards the accident scene. And he did not just walk away quickly, he stood there and absorbed what had happened a...
