Re: Photos & such
The cars at the Enzo museum look like plastic toys! I suppose these are just the real cars all my toys were based on, especially the 550, I remember loving my little die-cast model! By contrast, the cars at Maranello look much more 'real' but such crazy designs. Amazing. The F310 at modena seems a b...

Re: Giovinazzi v Pascal
Giovanazzi is good, but what actually makes Wherlein so bad? He scored the point with Manor. Ocon and the other fellas didn't. Maldonado scored Williams a race win. A lot of people didn't think he was a fantastic driver despite that. I think it's a lot to do with reputation in the F1 circus. Result...

Re: McLaren Honda's Best Place in Australia
I'm gonna be boring and say I'll have to wait and see until at least first practice before making my mind up.
I'm leaning towards a 2015 style result as Nosebuckle said, I'm expecting them to bring a different engine spec to Australia.

Re: Haas VF-17 Unveiled!
I think that colorisation is... well, it's okay in its own right, but that would just look like another Red Bull livery on the track to me- there's enough blue on the track as it is! I actually don't mind the gunboat grey of the Haas. If anything, I think the blocky red nose looks a bit awkward- I'v...

Re: Massa offered €6 million to race for Williams in 2017
I rather hit myself with a hammer than watch Massa race again in F1. With that level of stupidity, I imagine you'd miss. I haven't found Massa particularly thrilling to watch lately, and I thought when he retired it was quite fitting. I'd love to see someone new and exciting in the Williams... and ...

I reckon that Nurburgring DRS zone into that long left/right would be really difficult to overtake on. I love the idea of an ideal track though! I might have to do my own, sadly not half the skills to make an image of it! What did you use to put it together?

Re: Any Other Disillusioned Vettel Fan?
I tend to agree with what Christian Horner says, that Vettel should get a reprimand for the sweariness. As much as I really like that Vettel wears his heart on his sleeve and shows he's passionate, this isn't the right way. I think Horner likened it to swearing at the referee. All well and good when...

Re: Team Radio Ban - Are We Missing the Point?
IMO, formula 1 drivers should know how to operate their car. If the car is too complicated for a driver to operate, it is the team's fault for designing it in that way, or not training the driver well enough. It is a team sport, but the car shouldn't be driven by a team. IMO, formula 1 drivers shoul...

Re: Mercedes tyre pressure trick
Could teams be forced to have pressure@temperature tests done by scrutineers? e.g. pressure must read 28psi at 60degrees or something? Come to think of it, wouldn't it be better if tyre temperature was regulated to be within a pre-mandated 'safe range' but not be fully warmed up before the cars go o...

Re: Which Drivers SHOULD or WILL not be in F1 for 2017?
I don't think there's any doubt that Alonso deserves to be in F1. He's a fantastic driver, he's fast and he also provides good entertainment. Should he be stagnating in F1 at McLaren Honda? I don't think so. I read something in the forum about a possible indycar move? I don't think it's that likely ...

Drivers and glasses (Hamilton's glasses)
So, along with silly qualifying and more tyre compounds being available, I notice Lewis Hamilton's Gandhi glasses are another potentially controversial addition to F1 in 2016. Are they just for short distances? Are they clear glass? I remember Sébastien Bourdais having glasses. Does anyone know of a...

The two quotes by Kimi are completely out of sync with the rest of them. I took that first Kimi one to mean that he only ever wants to finish in first place. It's the same as the Fangio quote in that sense, always striving to be the best. No-one wants to go and pick-up second place next to the guy ...

Priorities when deciding colours... 1. Money . . . . . . . . . 2. Making cars easy to tell apart for viewers. Hahahaha, Yep. As ugly and slow as those cars were that shade of green is awesome. I disagree. The original Green they used was GORGEOUS!!!
