Re: Aston Martin to become Red Bull title sponsor
Is it just me who finds it funny that the car manufacturer will be the sponsor and the drinks company will be the constructor? I guess this was the same in the Infinity days but at least they had a link to the engine. Unlike AM...

Re: Is Martin Brundle losing it?
MB is the main reason i watch Sky F1 these days. His insight is still good. He makes a few mistakes but I think anyone would doing his job. The best bit of free practice is his absolute joy of being out on the track watching everyone up close. Also on the subject of commentators at least no one out ...

The thing that seriously annoyed me in that report is this statement: "You have quickly grown to love the races in Abu Dhabi & Singapore; especially younger fans" While this is the data: https://i.imgur.com/m4yMQLAl.jpg Source: report linked in OP Looks like they're seeing what they want to see. Has to be Ferrari's 1-2 at Monza in 88 for me. Perfect time and place to prevent the McLaren clean sweep that year Good memory! Also the same happened in 1979, with Jody and Gilles finishing 1-2, and Jody getting the WDC with that. Can you imagine a better scenario for tifosi? That one's a great sh...

Teaam owner out of those options, with a competition for best fan livery being put on the car each year and the designer of the livery coming to as many races as they could/wanted to attend that year. I think we can all agree that recent fan liveries have been a lot better than the actual ones raced...

Massa: can see him hanging on for one more year in 2017
Alonso: 2016 and 2017 at mclaren, then one final hurrah at Renault in 2018 before calling it a day. Retires to run a Renault sponsored pro-cycling team

Best: Hungary 1998 - Schumacher and Brawn outsmarting the faster McLarens to win the race and close up the championship. Monaco 1996 - Wet/dry race. Schumacher crashes out on lap one, Hill leading until his engine lets go, Frentzen flying in the sauber, Panis barging his way into the lead, DC huntin...

Re: Asphalt run off turn 8/9 Montreal.. Just been confirmed
I wish they could do something to safely punish the drivers for going off. There should be a consequence for going off, other than death or other serious injury. Maybe put 75-100mm of gravel on top of a tarmac run off. Just enough to be able to beach a car, but not enough to flip them over. Or sand...

As long as we don't have a race where the teams run out of tyres half way through, turning it into a total farce, then it should be ok.

Re: Restructuring the way up for Drivers
A stat that I read recently surprised me: Hamilton is the first and only winner of the premier feeder series championship (F2, F3000 Or GP2) to win the F1 world championship. If all was well with feeder championships I would have thought this would have happened more than just once.

I would love to believe that the last two winners of the tour did it clean, and tbh i still believe that contador was clean just got burned for a bad choice of food. I hate to see a good thread die, so. I have two questions:
When, where and who scored Williams's last race victory (so far I hope)?
How many races did the lead change after turn one of the last lap of the race in 2005?
