Re: Swap the Merc drivers seasons.
Luck can go kiss its momma. Anyone who wins the championships deserves it. Period! Was Hamilton's first title tainted? We all saw what happened that day. Rosberg has driven like a driver who deserves world championship as much as Hamilton. We have no clue how much Hamilton's driving style has affec...

Re: If You Ran Mercedes, Would You Supply Engines To Red Bul
Just looking at it from a risk vs reward perspective I think the answer is a clear NO. From a level competition standpoint I guess I want Merc to supply RBR, but the net effect of it might even be bad for F1, to have another top team run Merc PU. Seeing how Merc hit bulls eye with these new PUs i'd ...

Re: Time to call for cockpit visor?
I used to be against closed cockpits but now I don't really care if they make them closed given how little you can see of the driver with the high sides they have now. Just give me faster cars that looks scary to control when on the limit, and I'll be more than satisified

Re: What about the sound of the engines???
Can't believe how many people that seem to like the sound of the engines. And how can you fail to see the importance of the sound. People used to go to F1 because the speed and noise was spectacular. As if F1 getting slower (mostly cornering speeds which is what really matters) whilst ordinary roadc...

Re: POLL: Best looking 2015 car to date
I chose Mercedes, easy choice. They dont have the best livery but the shape of the car is very nice. Can't see how Ferrari is leading this poll to be honest. Even though they have improved the shape of the nose since last year it still looks far from good, but could look very good if they imitate Me...

Re: Jerez Testing
Wow, Merc really impressive right out of the box. Not hard to imagine them having another 3 secs in the hole either lol. McLaren are probably performing somewhere around expected, I hope they will be able to start doing reasonable laptimes by tomorrow though. The engine sounded VERY bad on the vids ...

Looks decent to me, kind of what I expected. Livery is nice and nose is far better than last year, remains to be seen on track though. So far the Merc looks the best to me, very nice "slightly retro" nose also

Re: The Official Fernando Alonso thread
So, what are your thoughts about his 2nd stint at McLaren? Judging by Ferraris form this year, which haven't even been improving I feel his move is good. I think he/they will face some problems in the early part of the 2015 season due to the new Honda engine but all in all I think the Hond partnersh...

Hamilton so lucky to still be in this race. Terrible driving like a lunatic when he had already gained enough to steal first. Now he's surely cooking his tyres again trying to overdo it. This is where Nico's race craft always wins because he's a more graceful and intelligent driver. Lol, sounds lik...

Considering Rosberg was 40 seconds behind Hamilton, and had to pass traffic one very used tyres, really don't see how people could vote for Hamilton. But that's just none of my business! 1. Hamilton was just cruising. Did you hear Martin brundle saying it looks like he is driving an outlap it is so...

Ric will be VERY strong in the race given how good he is at preserving tires and that the speed-difference between the tires seems very big at this circuit.

Hmm, heart says Schumi would win it but logic says Nico. As already stated he was past his prime and Ive also read that doctors were surprised that he was even able to race after suffering neck injuries in a bike accident. A Schumacher from his prime years would win it easily though.
