Re: Midseason Break Polls 2025: Rank the Drivers
Exediron and King Void (in locked thread) - why Russell over Verstappen? Consistency. Usually a strong point for Max, but this season he's let two really obvious results go by either driving errors, red mist moments, or a combination of both. Russell on the other hand has not only dominated a very ...

Here is how I voted in the poll: 1 Russell 2 Verstappen 3 Piastri 4 Leclerc 5 Norris 6 Hulkenberg 7 Alonso 8 Gasly 9 Hadjar 10 Albon 11 Sainz 12 Hamilton 13 Antonelli 14 Bearman 15 Ocon 16 Bortoleto 17 Tsunoda 18 Stroll 19 Lawson Clearly, my biggest disagreement (by far) is where I've put Hamilton. ...

Re: 2025 Midseason Break Polls: Rank the Team Principals
Okay, I've finally got enough free time to actually vote. I view the role of team principal as putting the right people in the right places, including going out and recruiting those people and retaining them, as well as putting the right structures, cultures, etc together to allow the team to functi...

I think that Horner is ranked too bad here. Ferrari would be happy with 2 GP victories this season. Would Ferrari be happy going from 9 wins the season before, and 19 a year before that, into a place where they have to fight tooth and nail for 2? Red Bull in 2023 was an unstoppable juggernaut. The ...

Re: Red Bull Racing sack Christian Horner
The problem with assessing anything about Verstappen at Red Bull is that there's pretty obviously something weird going on at that team with the second seat. Now, I'm no fan of Verstappen, and I think that's pretty obvious. He is a very talented driver. As a complete package, he's probably the best...

Yeah, what Piastri did was unusual and dangerous. Deserved penalty. Shame for him, because it was totally unnecessary, but at least it's a lesson he won't forget.

And yet, that was what Schumacher did on his very first F1 race. So who knows, perhaps Franco is also on his way to 6 driver titles... And if he is to be replaced, I feel Jack Doohan should be given a decent second chance. Even an overrated driver like Prost "won" 3 (thanks to the unfair FIA rules ...

I don't know but I certainly feel less confident that Red Bull can rebuild into a championship contender now than I did before they sacked Horner. I don't understand why this is still something that keeps coming up like some sort of bombshell. Yes, Prost had a weight advantage. As per rumours in the paddock, Colapinto's retirement during the British Grand Prix formation lap was due to him burning the clutch because of which the car got stuck in 2nd gear. In the world where he takes the corner a little slower I think Charles is all over the back of him heading into the straight and easily gets by with the slipstream and superior grip into the braking zone.
