Re: Is Mercedes unbeatable?

Explain how if they were indeed truly 1-second slower Saturday, how miraculously BOTH Red Bulls were lapping the quickest all race long. Tyres. Mercedes seem to have slipped back into their 2013-era performance, where they have insane pace but destroy their tyres when they use it. Bottas and Hamilt...

Re: Would you swap Perez for Vettel?

Bib: if we look at their McLaren stints alongside Button than that's not that clear. Magnussen was comparatively better in qualifying and showed more speed. Perez was the better points collector as Magnussen suffered from several rookie-mistakes. Indeed, Magnussen was a rookie when partnering Butto...

Re: F2 & F3

I think the Schumacher incident is getting far more coverage that it should, I guess because of his name. Yes, he came across a little early but cars in F3, F2 and F1 all passed around the outside last weekend and move across to take the line. Yep, a mistake maybe, but hardly worth more than a pass...

Re: F2 & F3

On a note unrelated to the Prema collision, if I was Daniil Kvyat I'd be feeling pretty threatened by Tsunoda's form. Honda would really like a Japanese driver in F1, and there's at least one seat presumably open at Alpha Tauri for a Red Bull-backed F2 champion...

Shwartzman can't just evaporate though. He's on the inside. Schumacher thought he was all the way passed and he wasn't. He's even admitted as much. Yeah, agreed. It was probably unwise of Schwartzman not to have backed out, but that doesn't absolve Schumacher of fault for hitting him. A bit like Mo...

Adding to Leclerc's case, he's the one who pushed hard for the one-stop strategy despite fears from the team, and kept reminding them to stick to plan C. He was the director. I didn't know that actually, thanks! I voted for Verstappen and Leclerc. Both of them seemed to outperform expectations for ...

I was oddly confident about the Kvyat pick, hence why I had his name in all caps on my prediction. He had more pace last weekend than I felt he was given credit for.

Happy to take the first win of the campaign, and hopefully it's just a springboard for more!

I don't think Magnusen is any more of a potential race winner than Hulkenberg. We've seen how they compared directly to Palmer. IMO Racing Point got extremely lucky with the penalty and has virtually no chance of an appeal producing a more lenient decision.
