Re: Unbelieveable - no TV coverage in Poland in 2014

for the first year in a long time, Belgium is not going to broadcast F1 on any Flemish tv station. Not that I care much about it, but it is worrying to hear it's not only over here ...

Re: Only 9 weeks until the first test at Jerez

Well mercedes have set one of their engines on fire already, so looks like they are going to very fragile at the start of the year. Merc have the best power unit of the three so far, Ferrari the most sluggish. But the Merc is horribly unreliable at the moment. The Renault is just like it has been f...

Re: Ideas for an F1 tattoo.

Go talk to an artist rather than trying to design your own concept... Look around for local and maybe less local artists, check their styles out and find a style that you like, one that matches your personality maybe. Then, go talk to them, and from there you have a good starting base to achieve bea...

Re: Assistance in Picking a Team?

Well, you can choose freely of course but you might want to check a bit of history on McLaren, Ferrari and Williams. On the current grid those three teams have been around a very long time and have achieved great things in the past and ongoing. I have always had a soft spot for Ferrari and Williams,...

Some of Mika's got lost in a fire as well. They have all been replicated, as well as the Prost one. He gave it to Ron Dennis a couple years after the incident.

Re: Piquet Jnr dissing ayrton senna now

Fascinating. Some people here have just charged against Piquet Jr, without even bothering to check what he has said. Mas Nelsinho acredita que a história seria diferente se Senna chegasse à Fórmula 1 algumas temporadas antes. No início da década de 1980, a confiabilidade do carro era menor e cabia ...

You guys are great ! @schumi7; I tried contacting Spa (I am even going to the GP, as usual :) ) but they could not give me any more info... @huggybear; that's really great !! helps a lot, there it says the footbal game is indeed on the wednesday before the GP, in Eupen. So that confirms the game! I'...

F1 soccer team in Belgium

Hello everyone! Just a quick question over here! I'd like to take my nephew (who loves soccer, but doesn't appreciate formula 1) (can't choose your family, can you...) to the game of football some of the F1 drivers play against local celebrities on (I think) the wednesday before the GP, in this case...

Re: Learning how to drive & passion for racing

driving on the road has nothing to do with racing, you should best keep them as seperated as possible. Just be careful and don't drive irresponsible! Understeer and oversteer are phenomenons which only will occur when speeding, or in very bad weather conditions (but even here, you should adapt your ...

French GP 79 I think... But not sure at all. Was hard back then to actually follow races on tv, but my dad was an avid follower and he always found a way. Really started showing interest in 1982!

Today was just another piece of beautiful driving by the Spaniard, he just does not put a foot wrong. I'm guessing the Ferrari is right about on pace by now, although it did seem impossible for Fernando to build a gap on Vettel or Button. I sure hope he is able to fight for this title right until th...

I don't know if this has been posted allready, but I just want to get this straight as over the years, many people used this argument. This isn't a court, tell me then that following the race which Senna won, Balestre saw Disqualification from the race for 'cutting a chicane' even thoough he clearly...

Re: Why do Prost supporters love Prost?

Prost was one of the greatest drivers of all time. He entered a car and had a pace that only the great could match. I was a fan from the very beginning. He did not like to talk too much BS, he rather drove around. It's a long time ago, but I think it was in the year 1980 when a horrible accident in ...

Re: Ferrari team orders? ;)

Having been 1s-1.5s a lap faster than Alonso and been right on the Ferrari's tail with 6 laps to go had Perez then not even made an attempt to pass him there would have been a Steward's investigation , the telemetry would have been examined and Sauber exposed. Falling off was a simple way to open a...
