It would be an improvement, that's for sure! Except for the Caterham for the initial several races, Ferrari had the worst looking nose last year.

Re: Which one time champ should have won more?
Can we get over whether we should be discussing this or not. As far as I'm concerned, unless we lock it anything is up for discussion. If you don't like a topic, don't post in it. I have had to deal with almost no reports so far this year, from memory this is the first time mods have been asked to ...

You're right, I don't understand it at all. Tell me your understanding of the importance of speculation. It's not important. It is fun/interesting to speculate though and most people enjoy it to some degree. Well, ok, I guess that's the way it is here on this forum. I'm on several other car related...

Re: Which one time champ should have won more?
"Should have" Hmm There's a famous Damon Hill example. I think Kimi should have had one more. Mansell is a good shout. I nearly said Surtees but he did amazing things to even get the one. So I wouldn't say he "should have", maybe more "his talents deserved". Did I miss something? None of the driver...

Re: Which one time champ should have won more?
What do you mean by "should have won more"? Points scored are a measurement of a car and driver's success. This is how teams and drivers are measured. Any other measurement is emotion. Of course if you just take it literal, maybe could was a better word. I just wanted something else to talk about o...

Re: Fuel flow control - What happened?
I don't understand why there's this complicated system at all. Each car is given 100 kilos to use during the race, so the driver should utilized it anyway he sees fit. F1 doesn't know how to do things in a simplistic or efficient manner. If you didn't have fuel flow control, you also wouldn't have ...

Re: Louder, more powerful and cheaper.
I'm not sure F1 is smart enough for inexpensive, powerful engines. The current "power units" are a $20 million laboratory, only making 650 HP, plus electric boost. Part of their expense lies with the completely unnecessary limit of 5 units a year. This only INCREASES the cost, because each component...

It was for the turbo packaging. Some twin-turbo designs had the turbo low in the sidepods, and the inlets went directly to the turbos.

If I could skate on taxes I would too. I've never blamed drivers for seeking areas to live where taxes are lower. Governments are very inefficient at managing money. If my tax dollars were spent more wisely, I wouldn't have a disdain for taxes.
