Didn't know where else to ask this but can anyone confirm that nico had a problem with his PU over the weekend which is why he couldn't keep up with Lewis? I haven't seen anything to confirm this and assumed Lewis just out drove him. Nico was ahead of him on 2 out of 3 dry practice sessions. I don'...

I don't know the answer to this, but, is Lewis prone to more engine breakdowns sue to being a more aggressive driver, taking more life out of his engines? In my eyes, we can prove it whatever we want using the stats. How about we say they are both very good drivers and enjoy watching them battle it...

No surprise indeed that's how the political game is played by all the "big" teams.

Mercedes more or less hinted last year at what kind of punishment they would deem acceptable during Testgate.

Now that another driver made it to their #1 team there's even more reason to follow them closely imo.

It's the same for all teams, some use them to shake down the car, others as a limited extra test and others actually use them for filming.

Who cares what and why they do as long as it's all according to the regs.

Back then it was mostly wishful thinking as there was no real info available. Now it's still early days but Merc made a promising start I must say. In the end there will be very little between the various engines as FIA will allow for "reliability" updates to get the engines very close in performance.
