High pressure air jets built into the Halo. Quite literally a windshield. Or a physical windshield, ala Indy. Engineered well, just the velocity of passing air would keep the cockpit and driver quite clean. F1 did used to have windshields.
Of course, gloves could be put to use.

Imo, it goes back to when Audi was dominating the endurance racing. When asked of Audi back then, they maintained they would only be working on one series. Enter now the Porsche hypercar to debut in 2023, it makes some sense to see the Audi marque in F1. Audi is capable of developing entire cars wit...

A lot of really stiff setting going on there but they need to balance that out a bit. A lot of drift and then skating under braking. Speaking of ooopsies, the course workers just don't seem to be quite on the ball.

He had a wee smile after answering that but I'm sure the nuance will be lost and he'll be taken to task for it as if he actually really meant he'd headbutt someone. The only real trouble on many US circuits would be adding garages attached to the pits. Hence, Austin built to suit. A city circuit more easily amended vs the autodrome arenas of Nascar (tri)ovals.
