Re: Too much "woe is me" at Ferrari this year
He has been spot on though. He said top 5 in Australia before race, and surprise surprise, he was 5th. He said the conditions will probably help us in Malaysia and he wont it in changing conditions. Said he does not expect much in China and they will have to take risks to progress and they had noth...

Re: Fire Martin Whitmarsh please!
The people who say that Whitmarsh shouldn't be blamed all have one thing in common. They are not McLaren fans. As such they probably don't follow these things as closely and are less aware of the prevalence of these issues. Not to mention they are not particularly bothered by it because they don't ...

Re: Why do Prost supporters love Prost?
Of the teammate battles the one that impresses me the most is Lauda winning over Alain Prost in 1984. Here Lauda was old and past his peak, while AP was completely at his peak!! That is impressive. In all actuality Prost beat Lauda in 1984 . However the half awarded points for Monaco was the differ...

Re: Attitudes to race wins and the championship?
While not a LH fan, I believe that his performance over 2008 made him a worthy WDC, whereas I do not think the same is true for Massa.... no matter what the official race wins record is... because Massa did not 'earn' his win at Spa anymore than LH's manouvre gained him any advantage over anyone wh...

The BBC broadcast of FP1 begins at 2:55am Friday morning here in Britain, with the session kicking off at the top of the hour. And since the UK is currently clocking on at GMT+1, the prospects are no better for the rest of western Europe hoping* to get up early. So for those of you like me who sudd...

Re: Attitudes to race wins and the championship?
The Formula One season is composed of 20 races and at the end, the driver who accumulates the most points is the WDC. That is the goal, and how you get there is not relevant, just getting the most points is. In the last three years the driver with the most wins has gone on to win the WDC, so it app...

Re: Why do Prost supporters love Prost?
you MUST remember the Senna movie was made by people who were HUGE Senna fans. There is no doubt they were pushing a pro-Senna anti Prost theme in that movie. I think both men had their faults, but in watching that movie it feels like Prost was a little baby who ran to the French Pres of racing to ...

Re: Williams are back
The Grosjean collision was just a racing incident though to be honest (I'm taking the fact that there was no penalty as proof there was no one to blame). Deserves the benefit of the doubt I suppose and i'm glad to see Williams with a decent car, but it looked to me at the time that M did a quick, h...

Re: Hamilton vs Button 2012 (Championship Edition)
I think it will be even-stevens.... JB is not as quick on a hai-'em scare'em lap, but over a GP can hold his own by keeping his head and making good calls. On the other hand, when LH 'gets it all together' i think he is unbeatable, it's just that he cannot do that consistently over 16+ races (happy ...
