Re: Kobayashi deserves a chance at the front
Being fast isn't enough. It's about getting those points at the end of the day. Which is what requires to become a WDC in a fast car, to get those points(plus wins, that's always good). It's funny when people thought Perez had the edge over Kobayashi in 2011, when this Japanese guy scored the major...

Re: Is Alonso currently the best driver in F1?
No. Hamilton beat him fair & square. And Button thrashed him fairer and squarer. Yet all the past greats will agree that ultimately Hamilton is the better driver over their careers. Just as they would agree that Alonso is better than Hamilton. You can't judge on just one season. If you judged Senna...

If we assume that Perez is destined for that seat, I actually believe that the best way forward is to keep Massa for the remainder of the season. They should keep him and do everything they can to get him back in some kind of form because bringing the young Perez in mid-season would be a nightmare. ...

Lewis was unfortunate in this race. If McLaren hadn't botched his first stop, he might have fared much better. None the less, in my opinion, he is in great shape for the championship. The McLaren is the fastest car in the dry and he is the faster of the two drivers as evidenced by his two pole posit...

If you are the designated #1, your results will be far better than if you had equality with a teammate. That much is clear. The respect that you earn from beating a quick teammate is unparalleled though.

No one has pointed out the real problem with Pirellis. It's not that they are disreputable tires. There have been disreputable tires in F1 before. It's that they reach a cliff and suddenly the car loses 4 seconds per lap. It creates some artificial excitement on track sometimes but it makes tire man...

I think that all of the teams are still in a feeling out phase. They didn't seem to know how the tires would behave or how long they would last. There also seems to be some mistakes made with regards to fuel loads. I don't think the pecking order is clear at all just yet.
