Ultimately, there's a lot to lose from pushing the car too hard these days. Drivers just generally have to be more reserved with the way they drive or risk damaging the tires. Danica is up there too. Obviously people don't like to acknowledge her as a serious racer but she was a top 5 performer in the Indy Car series at one point. She even took a pole position in NASCAR with minimal experience. She's good. She's not great but she's definitely good.
