Wouldn't have made any difference - he would have been crashing while the flag was being shown to him.

Re: Vettel: "Mark is too slow get him out of the way"
Come on, he was frustrated, he was juvenile but at least on race track (if you just mute his radio) he was phenomenal. I've voted Vettel as my least favorite driver but he did good today by racing till the end. He just about managed to overtake after Webber had turned his engine down.. Bravo indeed...

Re: "Unbelievable" - Webber
But he still wasn't quick enough at the end of the session. Vettel just nailed it, Webber didn't. He nailed the choice, yeah. Webber made the wrong call to stay out. If it was Webber's call. Vettel was much faster than Mark on his first run anyway. Webber just couldn't match his team mate on Inters...

I love the irony of Marko's role as "driver development". If your name is not Sebastian Vettel all he does is dish out disparaging remarks.
I suppose He could also have said Sebastian Loeb is not good for f1.

Re: Ferrari's amazingly fast off the line...
It is counter-intuitive to think of no hands at the start. Even though starting from nothing, it's the transition to power you would imagine require your attention/input - hands. Most would use the phrase "hold on to it" but maybe Ferrari know some self-steering principles millions of others who've ...

Re: Why does Jack Brabham rate so poorly in "All Time Rankin
Actually, I think Jack needs a movie! Consider Schumacher's first career, did people downgrade his drivin...

Is the list available?... would be interesting. Re: Why does Jack Brabham rate so poorly in "All Time Rankin
Alonso is similar. As great as he is, he doesn't have a drive as memorable as Hamilton at Silverstone '08, Raikkonen at Suzuka '05 or Button in Canada '11. That will surely hurt him in all-time ranking lists in 20 years or so. Imola '05? Or either win this season? I think Valencia was probably Alon...

I think some people in this thread misunderstood my earlier post. That surely hurts him in all-time rankings l...

I don't think the younger fan has truly grasped how different the formula 1 of Brabham's time compared to today. Firstly it was simpler. There were less people involved. Not every need was catered for like today, a mechanic or two set off with an old converted truck as transporter. Vehicles that oft...
