Re: FEEDBACK THREAD

Overall I like the changes. As for the signatures, I think having images is nice, but maybe keeping them to a max of 250 pixels tall would keep from having them be a distraction. Also, would it be possible to have avatars under our names, just something like 100 x 100 pixels? How about avatars unde...

Re: The car porn thread

Thought I would resurrect this thread for the new forum. Well we can't be doing without car porn, can we. :D And many thanks for resurrecting it. Just a couple of issues though: 1. The original had the title 'Car Porn' - just the two words, I believe punctuated with at least one exclamation mark. N...

Starting a practice thread when there's still a test standing between us and the opening round is bad form, IMO. Probably unlucky too.

Re: Patrese: Schumacher a different driver now

Schumi's lost his focus, if I can use a word as broad as focus. I always thought focus, by its very nature, a quite specific thing. ;) In his first career he was a guy who seemed like he was nice away from the track, but as soon as the timer started for practice/qualifying/race he would be a differ...

Re: Patrese: Schumacher a different driver now

we saw his killer instinct last year , when he tried to kill rubens - he's deffinately still got that- but capable of multiple wins , no way Thats a bit of a statement  It's a true statement. Even MSC had to admit it when he looked back at it. It brought a whole new meaning to the word R...

Re: Mock The F1: Scenes We'd Like To See #1

In the spirit of a UK satirical panel show called Mock The Week, here is F1's first Scenes We'd Like To See. The idea is that for the following situation, you submit humorous answers. One of the bigger F1 stories of the week is Marussia failing it's crash test. So, along those lines: #1: Bad Things...

Re: Friendships in F1

Just came across this thought by Vergne which disappointing me a lot: "...for me it is inconceivable that you can be friends with someone that you want to beat." Really? How could than generations and generations of drivers be good friends in the past? Something seriously smells bad in modern F1. T...

Patrese: Schumacher a different driver now

In a bad way. The Mercedes driver, it seems, is missing something - something fundamental to the five-time Ferrari champion's success. It might be just a little thing, but it's missing, Patrese suggests. And that makes Schumacher a different driver from the one we so fondly remember (or not so fondl...

Save that, yes, it is a lovely looking thing.

There is no such thing as religion. There are only sausages. Wrong, there's mince. I deny the existence of your sausage, and extol the virtues of my mince; the mince of champions. Furthermore, strengthened by our hearty meal of mince, my followers will soon overpower your puny sausage-eaters and co...

Re: the official 3rd test thread.

Well, Red Bull are going to struggle, I think you'll find. McLaren and particularly Ferrari should show rather more promise, though - I'm expecting them both to post good solid mid-field times.

Battle for top honours will be between Marussia and HRT, as usual.
