Cash is king. Bahrain paid good money to have the season opener. Likewise, Abu Dhabi pays good money to have the last race of the season.

Was wondering if we'd get a sub 1 minute qualifying lap this year. Looks unlikely.

Last year's pole time was 1.02.9. and Max has just done a 1.05.4 in P2. Not sure we are going to have a 5 second improvement between now and qualifying. Maybe they could get close next weekend.

Seb leaving at the end of 2018 doesn't make sense for Ferrari, as Kimi will probably retire too, which will leave them with two new drivers for 2019.
