No and their first run was on used tyres.
Thanks pokerman!

I reckon they should trial a one lap shootout in Q3, similar to what they had back in 2005. Q2 order determines who goes out when in Q3.

I have also been saying this for years. The world of F1 contains some of the best engineers on the planet. Why on Earth they don't allocate some resources (better than the half baked attempt in the late 00's) to figuring out this problem once and for all, I'll never know. Instead, we have nonsense l...

Re: Williams: Top Team again? Or still a midfield Team?

They haven't got the confidence to have a go at Mercedes in a proper, old school head to head strategy battle. There have been quite a few times in 2014 and now this year where I've found myself getting frustrated with their choice of strategy. It's like they don't want to win. Austria 2014 is one e...

My brain says Mclaren but my heart says Williams. Bottas to Ferrari, Kimi out, Button and Massa at Williams. Vandoorne in at Mclaren.

Knowing JB, the 2016 Williams will be awful and Mclaren will start winning races again.

Bit of a nightmare for Piquet. Clearly under a lot of pressure.

Really enjoyed the race. I love that Formula e doesn't rely on DRS for overtaking. There are less overtakes than F1, sure, but I'd argue that most of them are more spectacular. And a lot braver.

Ive been watching this sport for 21 years and never have i seen it in a state like this. Pinnacle of Motorsport? Not anymore. It's pretty dreadful at the moment. Slowly I'm losing interest. Didn't bother watching the qualifying live this morning for the first time in probably about 20 years (ever since my Dad would wake me up).

Re: Has Honda's Revival Being Overhyped?

Yes. Their V10 was merely 'up there', the V8 was a poor engine. Button and Barrichello couldn't believe the driveability of the Merc V8 when they stuck it in the back of the Brawn. The Honda V8 engine was unpredictable, unreliable and not as fast as the Mercedes V8. It blew up an awful lot back in 2...

2000. 2000 was the year when, finally, all of the hard work at Ferrari paid off. Let's not forget that he broke his leg the year before, so his recovery from that coupled with the fierce rivalry with Mika Hakkinen made it all the more impressive.

5 years it took them to finally pull it off.

Ok, here goes: 1. Ricciardo - A star is born. Fast, brave, shrugged Vettel off with relative ease. A real old school racer. That dummy on Seb at Monza was probably one of the highlights of the year. 2. Alonso - Remarkable performances in a dreadful car. I expect more of the same in next year's proba...
