I see what you mean this was all to stop them gaining an advantage of any kind.

When I think about the racing series I like, most of them let a team run three or more entries. So it's hard to oppose this one on principle.
However, it's hard to see any other intent behind this proposal than an attempt to paper over the cracks if/when Sauber and Caterham withdraw.

a third car with a young paid driver is good for testing everything its not as bad as it seems, tbh with Friday morning practice sessions set be scrapped in 2015 its a wonder it has not already been pushed trough

yes rumours point into that arabic direction... i'm still having a hard time figuring out what arabic team-owner/investor would be a familiar figure as reckoned by fernandes... The only team I know of that has Arabian backers is McLaren. We know that they definitely are not on the cards for Mercede...

Yes, each team has to run two cars. Rule 13.6 of the Sporting Regulations states 'No more than 26 cars will be admitted to the Championship, two being entered by each competitor'. 13.6 does not say a minimum of two cars just two per team and a max of 26 but under 13.1 when they submit there applica...
