The irony is that it is 2 ex Ferrari behind it now, Aldo Costa and James Allison added to the most effiecient PU in the business makes F1 in 2019 a drag race between Merc drivers to the first corner.
I've only watched highlights so far and even that aint much..

Re: 2018: How do you rate the season?
Way to easy for Merc this time around again, a 2 from me.
No matter what the top teams do, they will drive to top positions without any hazzle, some even get waved through.
Merc have now won >75% off the races during this hybrid era and it doesn't look like it will end anyway soon.

Interesting that in their respective press conferences this weekend both Vettel and Toto seemed to think Mercedes have had a small advantage overall this season. I would argue that it is in both of their interests to do so. For a truly unbiased appraisal I would be looking elsewhere. You mean like ...

It's easy when you have everything designed around you, the best team, best car and a solid wingman, nothing from that is the luxoury for Max but I believe it will be some day. Too much salt is bad for your blood pressure. I actually have a low blood pressure so some salt is no problem, but IMO Max...

Max is IMO the biggest talent I've seen and probably as hardheaded as they come, but this time he even got cleared by the judges. None off the other driver in top seats have been very happy with a car slower than the others, and he will not be that either. It's easy when you have everything designed...

How people can vote Ricciardo(far slower driver then Max) over him, Daniel struggled to get past Ferraris and Bottas, where Max owned all grid, including Hamilton. It shows how biased you are. Max this race operated at level that is unseen. Toto yes your statement about Lewis was nice, but you know...

Qualy Merc -> Ferrari -> Red Bull
Race Red Bull -> Merc -> Ferrari
Might be a bit masked by Bottas once again doing his wingman job, but that's my opinion.
Merc have now won 75% off all races during the hybrid era and F1 pundits desperately try to tell that they're 3rd fastest now..

Hamilton beat Vettel by just 0.061 seconds. That was the Hamilton factor. Bottas lost three tenths to the Ferrari. That was more like reality. I suppose an appropriate question to ask would be; what manner of heroics can restore Vettel's reputation at this point?
