Re: Any real incidents of a team sabotaging its driver?
Has anyone mentioned McLaren overinflating Alonso's last set of qualy tires in china 2007? Out of the 10 sets allotted for the weekend all of them were inflated to .2 PSI except for his last qualy set which was inflated to 1.5 PSI(nearly 8x higher and at risk of overheat/rupture) After that race the...

Re: Luckiest result ever
For me that'd be Jenson Button's first win. Alonso and Schumacher both starting from the back of the grid fight their way to 1st and 2nd only to both have failures and retire gifting Jenson his first win ever driving a Honda. Think it was 06 Hockenheim or Hungary I think, it's been a while.

I had an iPhone 4s before and currently use a galaxy s4 and I just noticed when browsing planetf1.com the frequency of the redirects for candy crush seems abnormally high literally 3 redirects every 4-5 links clicked. Normally when I encounter candy crush on other websites it'll be one every 10 link...

Re: FEEDBACK THREAD
Your candy crush site sponsorship makes browsing your main pages almost unbearable on an android or iPhone smartphone, 80-90% of the pages i try to view redirect me to the play store or app market. I understand the need for sponsorship but it's just obnoxious. It's almost as bad as embedded adds tha...

Re: Behind the leader in restarts.
Does anyone know if the 10 car lengths rule behind the safety car is still in effect? I think Vettel or Hamilton got a drive through for exceeding that distance but that was 3-4 seasons ago, there have been quite a few restarts in recent history that drop off the safety car pace almost and entire se...

Cant wait for this change. The RedBulls and their Newey DRS tricks gained so much more per lap than their competitors in practice and qualifying, I'm looking for qualy battles to be tighter and more exciting next year.

Great drives from all 3 drivers on the podium. Well controlled race from Lewis and great overtaking from Checo and Alonso from 13th and 10th respectively.

Watch the replays, there wasn't a full car's width of room, last year there was if only just. And btw Vettel's radio message just got censored/removed here in the states. What was that about crying on the radio?

So you agree the team favored Hamilton? That's the point of this thread. Anyway I'd be happy to pick this up later this evening I'm about to clock into work and it's not practical to research and provide links while I'm working.

No, don't put words in my mouth. Blackmail is wrong and he knew it and apologized. Ron took him to the FIA put of spite and cost his team the title.

Re: Hamilton was never favored at McLaren
He walked away free when the FIA offered amnesty to both Alonso and Lewis in return for turning evidence against the team. It was Ron the FIA/Mosely wanted, despite the fact that to the best of my knowledge there was more evidence incriminating Alonso than there was against Ron... Yes there was but...

Alonso and Hamilton are the most fun to watch because of the sheer speed and determination. Maldonado is fun to watch because whenever he gets a few seconds of airtime (especially a replay) chances are he's going to hit something or someone XD

Re: Hamilton was never favored at McLaren
Actually, there is no evidence whatsoever that Lewis was favoured by his team in his debut year before Alonso tried to blackmail Ron and the team, and if they weren't too bothered about any misfortune befalling Fred after that well, who can blame them? The point raised by the OP was that he was nev...

He was favored in his own garage AND the FIA his debut year. Go find a list of all the reprimands and fines they have him that year( not one on track penalty) and he still lost it. Does this part of the floor not have to be 'flat' (i.e. parallel with the floor/step-plane/reference-plane)? A hole is one thing but these 'holes' are more than just the absence of a continuous floor. They're shaped in 3D. Ruling was there cannot be fully enclosed holes in the floor, Ferrari and I ...

Hungary 06 was amazing. Seeing Alonso and MSC start dead last pick they're way through the whole field to 1-2 and both had mechanical problems that gifted Buttin his first win.
