Re: Paddy Lowe officially leaves Williams

Personally I don't think the fault of the design of the car lays with Paddy Lowe entirely. You don't become a rubbish designer over night, having designed championship winning Mercedes and Mclaren's in the recent past he's clearly good at his job. There are deeper problems at Williams, and he's gone...

What I don't understand, is why haven't Honda chucked a PU in a Japanese super formula car and just pounded around Suzuka for days and days until they get it right? They have had the time, the money, the resources etc. I suppose from the outside it just looks like they're not really trying hard enou...

There isn't enough time for them to start in 2015, either they were told a while back that they would both be accepted or they won't start until 2016. I read somewhere else that it takes about 9 months just to design a car, then it has to be built, they have to sign 2 possibly 3 drivers, find other...

I watched it yesterday and it was very interesting. However there seemed to be poor quality sound, which coupled with a sulky mumbling Newey made things quite hard to follow. Yeah same here. The leadership is the Farce, not the new regs

I believe that the real farce in Formula one is the lack of clear leadership from the FIA on things like the driver weight, and the way that Bernie / Red Bull and Ferrari are allowed to bring the sport in disrepute by constantly slagging off the amazing work being done in F1. We many not all agree o...

Speaking of sponsorship, have Lotus parted ways with Genii? It just showed Maldonado and it just had a large Proton logo on the side pod. No Genii still own the team (hence Gerard Lopez being TP. What Bernie is most likely trying to do is get a good amount for his current shares whilst keeping control via agreement. Then de-value the sport by slagging it off and taking it to countries where it wont work...the but it back for a super cheap price. (He's done it twice before!)

I also much prefer the Sky Coverage. I find Suzie Perry is so nervous and very weak. She doesnt seem to have the confidence of Jake or Lazenby. Which is surprising given the years of MotoGP work she achieved. I Like Coulthard and EJ but really cannot stand Ben Edwards. His commentary is too 'shouty'...
