The Raging of the Bulls
BRAZILIAN GRAND PRIX RESULTS
Mercedes clinched the World Constructor's Championship in Brazil, but here in the Top Three Championship things are much livelier. The battle is set to go to the wire after a thrilling set of mixed predictions that saw the top three stumble a step for the first time in a while.
Friday practice painted an inconclusive picture, with no team seeming to hold a clear edge. The majority of entrants expected that Ferrari would remain the stronger of the two top teams following on from Mexico, and Vettel was the favorite to win with slightly over half the entrants selecting him. Those hopes were dealt a blow when he failed to take pole, but more finally in the race they were crushed when he proceeded to have no pace whatsoever.
For much of the Grand Prix it appeared that Max Verstappen was going to win, handing a clear victory to coulthards chin, the only contestant to select the Red Bull driver for the victory. Sadly, fate - and Esteban Ocon - had other ideas, and Verstappen ended up second after spinning due to contact with the lapped Force India. Hamilton took home the victory, with Kimi Raikkonen finishing off the podium.
Only one of us correctly placed the top two on the podium, and so it is
Mod Onyx picking up a first win since the Belgian Grand Prix!

Individual Standings - Round Twenty
Things are getting tight as the championship race draws to a close, and this result hasn't done anything to loosen it up at the top - quite the opposite, in fact. Championship leader cm97 failed to score, and his lead is reduced to only a single point from Jenson's Understeer, with Remmirath a further point back. These top three are certainly the favorites going into the finale, but they are by no means safe.
In fourth place, Exediron continues a late surge by taking second in Brazil: he now sits only 9 points out of the lead, but will require a Perfect Podium in Abu Dhabi to move any further. Mod Titanium falls to fifth place, 3 points back, with robins13 in sixth position completing those who are still contending for the championship, 2 points back of Mod Titanium.
A strong round from Mod Onyx has seen the biggest standings climb of the round, from eleventh place last round to seventh (and just out of contention). Mayhem and coulthards chin both failed to score, remaining in eighth and ninth. CarlPotter now rounds out the top ten, separated from Icemanjee1 by dint of a Perfect Podium.
Further down the order, Black_Flag_11 moves ahead of TheDamus for sixteenth place, with P-F1 Mod also passing Herb for eighteenth.
Team Standings - Round Twenty
It's a good round for the championship leaders No Limit Excedrin Racing, who extend their lead by a further 2 points, taking it out to 9 points heading into the finale at Abu Dhabi. Bwoah Steering Wheel is in second, 11 points ahead of third-placed Sand Bag'n. Drive Sauber, 5 points behind Sand Bag'n, is the final team still contending for the Team's Championship.
In fifth and sixth places, the two mod teams of Crisis in Management and Management in Crisis remain separated by a mere five points. Behind them, however, there has been a change - a strong showing by both of The Also Rans has seen their team surge forward into seventh place, followed by Lotus-CC Racing retaking eighth place. The defending champions (who are no longer defending) of 2017, Jalopy Racing, fall to last place on the season, meaning we have the odd situation where both reigning champions - individual and team - are in last place in their respective standings.

CHAMPIONSHIP SCENARIOS FOR ABU DHABI
cm97 wins the championship by default, or can guarantee it with a Perfect Podium. Scoring at least 5 points puts him out of the reach of anyone but Jenson's Understeer and Remmirath.
Jenson's Understeer must outscore cm97 by at least 1 point without giving away more than 1 to Remmirath. Jenson's Understeer holds two Perfect Podiums and thus wins every tiebreaker scenario.
Remmirath must score at least 3 points over cm97, or 2 if it's a win. Remmirath doesn't hold tiebreakers without winning the round.
For the other three, the picture is a little murkier. All three must score a perfect podium, but in addition:
Exediron needs none of the top three to correctly predict more than the winner.
Mod Titanium needs cm97 to fail to score more than a single point, with Jenson's Understeer and Remmirath not scoring more than three.
robins13 needs cm97 to fail to score any points, and Jenson's Understeer and Remmirath not to pick up more than one apiece.
Bring on Abu Dhabi!
