Thanks - it takes a decent chunk of time, but I feel it's important to the different character of this competition compared to the others. The teams sort of lend it to a fantasy-F1 atmosphere anyway, so I play that up a bit. I'm always glad to hear that people appreciate it! :)

As long as you stay for the whole season, you'll be his best teammate yet... :]

Lol I already have anxiety he’s going to miss entering picks some weekends. I feel like Alonso, just give me a teammate who enters picks and we can fight for the championship!

Didn't get a chance to watch the race until yesterday. Just got the chance to come on and post. Congratulations to the champs. I'll have to redouble my efforts next year if this lovely competition is still going on.

A special thanks to Exediron for running this. It was a real enjoyment throughout the whole of it. Hopefully one year I can treat you to a drink at the Montreal GP. (Won't be next year unfortunately as I'm travelling in May.)

Whats this? A hint of internal wrangling after just 1 day as teammates?

I think we can expect fireworks in the former McLotus team in season 2018.

I'm already giving my new chassis supplier sleepless nights I see. I swear I won't miss a round, special circumstances around AD in my defense. Normally I'd have just put a banker in on Thursday when I do the Pick10 but I waited to get in touch with mcdo instead to see if he wanted to mirror picks and it went belly up from there.

I've been having a proper nightmare in both comps since before the summer and I still showed up in both so we'll be good attendance wise, scouts honour.

Scoring wise is the issue for me, I do like a goose egg... :D

This statement from my new teammate has just fired up everyone back at the factory! They now know they can count on a driver to show up every weekend and have no doubt the points will come. I think our target for 2018 may just have risen from best of the midfield to title challengers :o

That's the spirit.

How does Scuderia Bentrovato-Lotus sound as a working title for the team? Or Moanin' Romain Racing? Or Scuderia Alonso's Chicane Karma (S.A.C.K Racing)?

And I'm out for now.

I've kept you all waiting for it, but it is time to crown our Knockout Cup Champion for 2017. TypingChicane entered the final race with a five-point lead over Icemanjee1, and we were all set to have a nail-biting climax to the competition... and then nobody scored more than three points. Admittedly it was Icemanjee1 who scored the three points to take the round victory, but unless I'm very much mistaken, three is a smaller number than five so...

Icemanjee1 (3) 3 vs. 5 (0) TypingChicane

Congratulations to the 2017 Knockout Cup (and therefore, double winning!) Champion... TypingChicane!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who completely fails to understand these percentages? Because it seems to suggest one of us (me?) contributed 83% of the points scored by Exediron and myself, which is almost as confusing as the bar above it that says Jezza scored 92% of his team's points!

The rest of the write-up was very informative, though  I'll be back stronger next year! (Probably. Maybe. Hopefully!)

Sorry, I guess I should have explained that one a bit more! x(

The percent is between the two teammates: Jezza13 scored 92% of Herb's points, similar to how you scored 83% of mine. I could have done it on a team basis, but that would make the numbers smaller and demonstrate the gaps a little less - represented that way it would be 52 / 48 for Herb and Jezza13, and 54 / 46 for us.
