"In-Depth is defined as technical or statistical threads which are less likely to interest casual fans".

How's that?

I was a big fan of the old in-depth forum. There were some great, if sometimes far over my head, conversations in there that were truly interesting. Glad it makes it's triumphant return.

Excellent, this could be the saviour of the forum.

Incidentally, are the various threads that already exist and that would definitely be considered "in-depth" to be transferred over here too, or, as I suspect, would that simply be too much of a pain in the pickle?

edit - ooh, "quick reply", me likey.

It's an absolute "pain in the pickle". I'll do it later though.

EDIT: Actually, if you think threads deserve to be in here, report them and write that.

Tar very much, that seems entirely fair to me. I might well have a bit of a search through latter, but, then again, it would be a pain in the pickle, so i might not. Thanks again though.

That sounds rather off-topic to me, Guia ;)

It's back! Great stuff.

Now all PF1 needs is a "birdbath" forum for all the bickering. :D

Not necessarily! Admittedly, I would have to be content to read what others would post, but any post by Guia has my interest. :)

Agreed,

One question though mods, is there any chance we could have a copy of the F1 regulations on here? maybe indexed in the announcement sections? would be incredibly handy. I'd start a thread but it'd need more than that.

Is that too much work?

Awesome Blinky you are a gent.

it would be good if these links had their own locked thread at the top of the IN DEPTH section, for reference purposes in threads from both catagories?

Thank you mods also, hopefully this nurtures a culture of reading up before making inane comments in the forums. Something i have been guilty of also...

Thanks!!

Just to clarify: in-depth posting means no superfluous posts, as they disrupt the flow of debate.

Just when I found myself reading PF1 less and less due to the trolling, there is a glimmer of sunshine...and rational conversation. Thanks!
