could Raikkonen retire from every race now?

i feel he could have backed off a bit from the contract with the Caterham of Giedo van der Garde
im just wording if he done it on propose
im well aware he has not been paid and thus lotus may have broken the contract but it still stands to reason that if he fails to turn up and race he will in turn break his side of the contract thus making it void wether they pay or not
