Who is going to have the first race win of 2019? Will Ferrari or Mercedes be battling for the win or will Red Bull, Haas or even McLaren take the honours?

Tossup between Mercedes and Ferrari. I don't believe Red Bull's self-hyping.

I haven't filed my predictions in any of the competitions yet, but I'm inclined to predict a Ferrari win at this moment. The only thing holding me back is that Australia is unusually Merc/Hamilton strong, so it might go against the flow.

I'm liking the look of the Ferrari.

That's where my $$$$ will be for Melbourne as things stand today

I'd go for Ferrari.

I wonder if Kimi could get a podium in Melbourne?

Vettel for me. I reckon he'll be up for it this season after his disappointing 2018.

If the last three years are anything to go by, Hamilton will take pole and finish second. Assuming the Ferrari and Merc have the measure of the field, I'd put my money on Vettel.

Bottas says it is going to be him.

He has declared that he is going to beat everybody this year.

I wonder how that attitude is going down at Mercedes.

Maybe he will win a race this year.

Well Mercedes have just about said he has to do that to keep his seat.

Money is going on Ferrari for me. Vettel, Hamillton and Leclerc bagging his first F1 podium.

I like Ferrari for Australia. Good enough car with two drivers who I think want it more than Mercedes. Lewis still thinks he'll have the best car by the end and I can't see Bottas dying for the win.

Ok thanks but I didn't see any kind of "attitude" that Mercedes hasn't seen in every single driver they've employed.
